The mission of the Association is to defend and strengthen the insurance and reinsurance brokerage in the Republic of Bulgaria by participating in the elaboration of legal documents, projects and concepts in the sphere of insurance; to defend the rights and interests of its members and to support and improve the professional qualification of its members.

The Goals of the Association are:

1.? To defend and strengthen the insurance and reinsurance brokerage in the Republic of Bulgaria.
2.? To support the development of the activity of its members.
3.? To defend the rights and interests of its members.
4.? To support and improve the professional qualification of its members.
5.? To defend the position and to strengthen the prestige of the insurance and reinsurance broking in Bulgaria.
6.? To popularise the role and importance of the insurance brokers.

The means of the Association used to accomplish its goals are:

1.? Studying and popularising the experience of common organizations as well as regulatory environment in the sphere of insurance and reinsurance broking in Europe and worldwide.
2.? Participation in the elaboration of legal documents, projects and concepts in the sphere of insurance.
3.? Participation in national and international insurance and insurance brokers??™ events
4.? Supporting the international exchange and international activity.
5.? Maintaining own information network.
6.? Supporting government and non-government institutions, national and international organizations in accordance with the goals of the Association.
7.? Membership in and maintaining contacts with common national and international organizations and participation in their forums.
8.? Organizing forums in the sphere of insurance and insurance broking.
9.? Informing its members about problems and trends in their activity.
10.? Awarding outstanding figures in the sphere of insurance.

The Association of the Insurance Intermediaries in Bulgaria defines itself as an organisation performing activity in private favour ??“ in favour of its members.
